Kyneton Bushland Resort

If you like a bush outlook and the convenience of a comfortable place to stay then you'll like this place. The units are a good distance from each other so it's very quiet. I liked the really large sofa setting which doubles as a good place for a nap during the day as it is very long and spacious. You can fit 2 people very easily there at either end and still have room for sitting on. I found it odd though that considering we are staying for a week that they only provide 3 dish washer detergent sachets and there's no draining rack. But there's plenty of crockery and utensils. Could do with a new peeler. There's a hair dryer, washing machine, dryer, ironing board, iron, small vacuum cleaner. The place was very clean. Kyneton is within about an hour or so from the main attractions. Friendly cockatoos like to visit. There were lots of butterflies in early December, saw a mob of kangaroos as well.

It is a nice place for families, especially their function hall - their play room for toddlers, billiard rooms, swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi. Special mention of the theatre room! Plus their indoor swimming pool area, pools are heated and there is a special pool which apt and can accommodate small kids. Lake and outdoor play - you can do kayaking etc

Kyneton Bushland Resort absolutely an amazing place to stay for a week. This was our 3rd time back. We are already planning on our next trip back. This time we stayed in a 3 bedroom villa! We will miss the serenity and the kangaroos, kookaburras, and birds on our doorsteps, and the pancake breakfast plus the fun games in the games room plus putt putt, golf, canoeing, 8 ball and walking around exploring with the family. Looking forward to going back next year. 😍💖🦘🦜

Beware when booking accommodation here as what you book is not necessarily what you get! I booked a 3 bedroom apartment as it was close to all main amenities incl pool, mini golf, playground etc & showed a bath in pictures. Upon arrival we were put into a 3 bedroom villa nowhere near all the main amenities. Upon querying this I was told that the 3 bed apartments were already occupied even thou this is what I booked. They then tried putting the blame back on me for not specifying my reasons for booking this apartment. If I book an apartment then that is what I expect to get, I should not have to specify my reasons for booking this type of accommodation. If the apartment I booked was not available at the time of my booking then my booking should not have been accepted. Very poor service and I would highly recommend you be aware of what you are booking compared to what you receive. We stayed in the villa for 2 nights as we had to stay in Kyneton for a function and all other accommodation was booked out but as previously stated, this was not what I booked. Management needs to address this issue & not try and put the blame back on their clients for their errors/policies. Don’t advertise accommodation as apartments or villas when you just get given what they want to give you regardless of what you book. I have tried sorting this with management but all Kylie wants to do is place the blame back on myself for not specifying why I specifically wanted the apartment. I should not have to specify my reasons. They however should deliver what they have accepted the booking for.
